To the author,
I would like to note that there are countless animals left in people’s hands who are not taken care of..in particular not spayed/neutered. This creates a mass of animals that suffer endlessly...they keep on multiplying and we are doing nothing to help their situation. So tell me, proclaimed animal lover, do you think it is better to keep on overcrowding animals in cages, giving them but the bare minimum..? If so, then you enjoy you ham sandwich, my friend. The point here is that you are not looking at the big picture. Billions of animals suffer each day, be it one as ”cute” as a cat or as ”ugly” as a pig. Please take a meaningful look at the world around you before you start to make assumptions. We, as the dominant species, should try to prevent the suffering inflicted on other species and, unfortunately, sometimes that may equal to eliminating an individual if it means helping an entire race.
Best,
Agnes
