India :

K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Union Minister and TRS chief, came under pressure to take the issue of separate Telangana state with the central government. The compulsion might have been felt to raise the issue in the wake of recent statement of Advani over Telangana issue. Advani has expressed grief over the fact that the centre is not serious of taking up the issue.

The UPA government in its Common Minimum Programme has already made it clear that it will be committed towards the statehood for Telangana.

Rao has taken up the issue recently with UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and expressed confidence that their demand for the statehood is on the right track. He further has stated that the UPA government is likely to table the bill in the next parliament session which due in May.

Interestingly Rao has said that the opposition party BJP has already extended its support to the demand of statehood to Telangana.

Hi,

I am Telaganite, a hyderabadi.

Telangana no doubted was ignored for quite some time, but recently the leaders has started, looking into the needs of telangana. In this scenario there is no need of a separate telangana. It should get its piece.

I strongly believe, Mr. Chandrashekar rao, is doing all this in desperation and As pressure started building at his low profile. He is also know as absent minister in delhi.

The one who can’t be disciplined in his own actions and tong, how can he control the state?

If the MPs in the parliament were asked for separate state, they may give the node but, ask the people of telangana and the AP state as a whole.

What is the people of Jarkand and Chattisgardh have achived after separtion? Did they got any thing new? more over they lost the plant of Laxmi mittal.

BJP once was against the separate telangana, has changed its stand.

The Leaders should not be hyprocrates. They should be beurocrates

If the leaders of telangana want to do any good for telangana region, let them fight for the rights for the people there, not for the separate state.
Dear Parshuram, The political leaders have made that much impact on our mind that we see good things with a bad point of view only. Decentralisation of power is a tool of democracy. India is a big democratic country and smaller states may be developed well if the governments of those states as well as the central government would show the real will power.

After all it is the political will power matters. Chandrasekhar rao is doing nothing except playing politics. He was labour Minister, everybody knows what he did in the government in last two-and-half years. How can anybody expect good things from these kinds of opprtunist political leaders.

I am afraid that the fate of our country is in leaders like him.
