Soon after the announcement of Indian market specific computers by Intel, Hewlett Packard (HP) has launched an India specific keyboard which will speed up the typing Indian languages.



The Gesture Keyboard, as it named, has been developed at Bangalore based research laboratories. It consists of a pen and touch sensitive pad that will enable its users to choose from a grid of consonants and modify the words written, swiftly with the stroke of the pen.



The keyboard facilitates to write Hindi, Marathi and Kannada. The cost of the product is just over 30 pounds which is now available for sale in India. The keyboard can be used on any computer running Windows or Linux.
