The Indian Hockey Federation added a feather in its cap by sacking Rajinder Singh Junior as the chief hockey coach and places Vasudevan Bhaskaran on the post. Spilling over the things IHF chief K P S Gill made him the ninth coach to be shown the door in his tenure.



Bhaskaran’s appointment was almost expected after India’s miserable performance in the recent Commonwealth Games, where they finished sixth, which triggered the ouster of Rajinder Singh Junior.
