I head about this today, apparently the sexual assault happened when the girl when out on a date with the ”older man”, actually only 19 years old himself. Granted I grew up out in the country, but this kind of age difference was the norm. I felt kind of bad for freshman and sophomore boys because they could never get dates; no post-pubescent girl was interested in a boy that young.

My question is, would her mother have sued McDonald’s if the two had met and arranged a date there? How about if they’d met at a school football game? Or the movie theater?

The woman is blaming MySpace for her own inattentive parenting.
